The Tourist Development Council grants program provides support to nonprofit and for-profit organizations presenting significant cultural or special events, including sports activities and television and film origination projects that promote Miami-Dade County’s appeal as a tourist destination.

The Community Grants (CG) Program is particularly sensitive to the needs of indigenous cultural neighborhood activities and projects encouraging the preservation of heritage, traditions and culture, as well as social service organizations and cultural groups developing collaborative intervention projects using the arts.

MAXIMUM REQUEST:

• Division A – Total Project Budget of $50,000 or less may request up to $5,000
• Division B – Total Project Budget of $50,001 – $100,000 may request up to $10,000
• Division C – Total Project Budget of $100,001 – $250,000 may request up to $25,000
• Division D – Total Project Budget of above $250,000 may request up to $35,000

DEADLINES:

First Quarter  (projects taking place between October 1 – December 31)

• July 15, 2024

​Second Quarter (projects taking place between January 1 – March 31)

• October 15, 2024

Third Quarter (projects taking place between April 1 – June 30) 

• January 13, 2025

Fourth Quarter – (projects taking place between July 1 – September 30) 

• April 14, 2025
