Spreading Holiday Joy at FLL

The 36th Annual Winter Festival of Music returns to the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) from December 9-13, 2024, from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM daily. In partnership with Broward County Public Schools, this year’s event showcases live performances by more than 600 elementary, middle, and high school students. Bands, choirs, dancers, and carolers will perform holiday favorites in specific terminal areas pre- and post-security and in the Rental Car Center.

“This annual winter tradition is highly anticipated every year, and we enjoy partnering with the school district,” said Mark Gale, FLL CEO/Director of Aviation. “These students are immensely talented and have the opportunity to share their musical gifts with travelers and employees while instilling a little holiday spirit during the festive season.”

The airport’s Winter Festival of Music provides a bigger stage for student musicians to showcase their talents. The end of the year is always a busy travel period, which can be stressful for some travelers. The cheerful performances allow them to decompress and take in the delightfulness of the season. Holiday travelers often treasure the festival and take photos and videos to share with family and friends or on social media.
