Beer for Breakfast is a comedy play written by Sean Grennan about a group of middle-aged men who reunite for a weekend at a cabin to eat, drink, and reminisce. The men, Mark, Richard, and TJ, bond over their high school and college days in the 1970s and their fondness for drinking beer for breakfast. However, their plans are disrupted when Adrian, the cabin’s owner and one of the men, doesn’t show up and instead his estranged wife, Jessie, shows up in his place. The play follows a battle of wits and stamina between the men and Jessie, as they compete to determine who is the stronger sex.
