Roman Feral (Transforming the Ephemeral into the Timeless)
Roman Feral, the internationally acclaimed Miami-based artist from Paris, has enchanted the art world with his extraordinary ability to fuse the elegance of luxury brands with the delicate beauty of nature. Drawing deep inspiration from the fashion industry and his cultural heritage, Feral’s work is celebrated for its intricate detail and timeless sophistication.
Roman Feral’s artistry is unique with a blend of traditional craftsmanship and innovative techniques. Like a modern-day alchemist, he captures the refined essence of iconic luxury items using one of nature’s most delicate creations: butterflies. By arranging these butterflies in a state of perpetual flight, Feral transforms fleeting moments into eternal beauty, offering viewers an illusion of endless journey and elegance.

Feral first captivated the international art scene at Art Basel Miami Beach in 2018, where his debut collection received acclaim from collectors and critics alike, paving the way for exhibitions in leading galleries around the world. Notably, his sculpture “Coffre Chanel Azur” was acquired by CHANEL, solidifying his place among the giants of the luxury industry.
Feral’s ability to merge the luxurious with the natural has attracted collaborations with some of the world’s most prestigious brands. Cartier, Goyard, Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior, Hermès, and Chanel have all been graced by his distinctive touch. With works being held in private collections by royal families, celebrities and institutions worldwide, a feat not held by many in today’s art world.
The introduction of his first bronze sculpture and works, taking what’s been identified as dated material, was developed in collaboration with the esteemed Bocquel Art Foundry. Each piece, featuring meticulously arranged bronze butterflies, requires over 90 hours of hand-polishing, a technique similar to that of jewelry making and incorporates more than 30 kilos of bronze.
The latest art installation using the bronze material , “Hermes Bronze Monumental, 2023,” now gracing the prestigious Lotte New York Palace, valued at $400,000, will captivate audiences over the next three months, along with additional works featured throughout the property.
