Restore the Entrance of Camp Mahachee with Coral Gables Beautiful & Girl Scouts of Tropical Florida

Location: Girl Scouts of Tropical Florida’s Camp Mahachee (9950 Old Cutler Rd, Coral Gables, FL 33156)

Girl Scouts of Tropical Florida is working to restore the front entrance of Camp Mahachee, a 74-year-old campground in the heart of Coral Gables.

Volunteers must be 15 years of age or older to participate.

Community Service hours are available.

Groups are welcome to volunteer.

What will you be doing? 
1. Collecting litter
2. Helping to remove invasive species
3. Relocating small pieces of wood from the 1.5 acres front entrance area
4. Repack donations

Things to Remember:

1. Wear closed-toe shoes and long pants.
2. Hats and sunscreen are recommended.
3. Don’t forget your reusable water bottle.
