Start your New Year with some fabulous music and fireworks! Orchestra Miami, Miami’s premiere professional orchestra, invites you to ring in the New Year with a spectacular free beachfront concert featuring three-time Latin GRAMMY®-nominated group Negroni’s Trio and Latin Diva Marinel Cruz. This free, family-friendly event will take place on Tuesday, December 31st on the beach in Collins Park, between 21st & 22nd Streets (on the sand east of Collins Avenue) in Miami Beach.
The evening begins at 8 PM with a performance by the Orchestra Miami String Quartet, performing festive music to get you in the holiday mood. At 10 PM, Orchestra Miami, led by Artistic Director Elaine Rinaldi will take the stage with our special guests for a captivating performance, leading up to a dazzling fireworks display at midnight. Audiences will enjoy a mix of Classical, Latin Jazz, Ballads and such favorites as La Chica de Ipanema, Piel Canela, Va Todo al Ganador, and much more!

I couldn’t be more excited to perform with such exceptional musicians and bring our community together to celebrate the start of the new year with some fantastic music. Not to mention, seeing the fireworks right behind the stage is thrilling!!”
Three-time Latin GRAMMY®-nominated group Negroni’s Trio, (José Negroni, piano, Nomar Negroni, drums & Josh Allen, bass), infuses a modern and creative touch to jazz, pop and Latin classics. Negroni’s Trio have performed on stages throughout the world, including many U.S. & international jazz festivals, as well as New York’s world-famous Blue Note Jazz Club.
Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, soprano Marinel Una Voz has been captivating audiences worldwide thanks to her exceptional voice and powerful interpretations. Her dedication and passion for opera and classical music have earned her numerous recognitions over the years and her collaborations with José Negroni have introduced this outstanding crossover artist to a new audience. Among her outstanding achievements is recognition for her outstanding career in the “Miami Latino MLMTV International Awards”, along with prizes in several prestigious competitions, such as The Marcello Giordani International Vocal Competition, the Miami Classical Singer Competition, and the Monserrat Caballé Competition in Spain. One of her greatest honors was the title of “Best Women’s Lyric Singer 2014” in the “Miami Life Awards.”

For those who want to elevate their holiday experience, VIP tickets are available for $120 per person. VIP tickets include a reserved seat, open wine bar, and a champagne toast at midnight. Or, reserve a Priority Seat with access to cash bar for $60 per person.
This is a free concert! Guests are encouraged to bring a blanket or a beach chair, as no fixed seating is provided for the general public. Guests may bring picnics, but glass containers are strictly prohibited on the beach. Parking is available at the Collins Park Garage, located at 340 23rd Street, or the G7 Garage in the 1755 Meridian Building or in the 17th Street Garage.
