Job Description
Position Overview:
The Individual Giving Manager, Museum Circle is responsible for the identification, solicitation, stewardship, and renewal of PAMM members in the $1,000 to $5,000 range. This position also assists the Director of Major Gifts with strategic planning for fundraising from individuals and acts as staff liaison for committees including the PAMM Art of the Party NextGen Committee, and the KIDS JAMM at PAMM Committee.
Essential Functions include, but are not limited to:
- Manage PAMM’s upper-level membership program (Museum Circle) and meet quarterly and yearly goals that include member household count and financial results.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive plan that engages current donors in a meaningful way and increases their annual financial support.
- Identify new donor and member prospects and bring them through the donor cycle (identification, qualification, cultivation, solicitation, stewardship).
- Maintain a personal portfolio of prospects capable of gifts in the 4-5 figure range for membership, exhibitions, general support, and legacy gifts.
- Meet with donors on a weekly basis (coffee, lunch; minimum 8 meetings per month)
- Work strategically, and meet regularly, with the Research Coordinator to develop a productive use of research and data, specifically with regards to emerging communities in the region.
- Collaborate with all members of the Individual Giving Team to maximize donor engagement opportunities and streamline donor and prospect management.
- Collaborate with all PAMM departments to execute robust Museum Circle programming throughout the year (such as artist studio visits, exhibition receptions, private collection visits, and more).
- Serve as an active and visible ambassador in the community, communicating PAMM’s leadership in the arts, building a strong culture of giving, forming strategic alliances and fostering county-wide collaboration.
- Create quarterly newsletters for Museum Circle members that include upcoming events and opportunities at PAMM.
- Work with Development Events Manager and other departments across PAMM to plan and execute the annual KIDS JAMM event.
- Serve as point of contact for the KIDS JAMM Host Committee, securing Committee members, promoting ticket sales and working with the Corporate Relations team to secure event sponsors.
- Serve as staff liaison to the NextGen Committee, including organizing and facilitating committee meetings, securing new committee members, and ensuring the committee sells tickets for the annual REMIX afterparty.
- Any other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Required Degree: 4-Year Degree/Bachelor’s Degree
Qualifications:
- Two or more years of development experience (in a nonprofit organization) or similar profession
- Proven track record in donor cultivation, as well as experience in utilizing research and data to meet projected goals.
- Skilled at managing multiple projects often on tight deadlines, while never losing sight of the big picture.
- Comfort and skill in working with high profile individuals.
- Attention to detail, excellent writing skills.
- Fundraising database and computer proficiency (MS Outlook, Word, Excel).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in an art museum or non-profit setting preferred.
- Fundraising database Altru experience preferred.
- Event planning experience.
- Proficiency in Spanish a plus.

Physical Demands:
- Walk, bend, lift (up to 15 pounds) files, office supplies, and electronic equipment.

- Close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
- Ability to hear in normal tones including telephone and face-to-face conversation.
