Celebrations kicked off with Buren’s regatta, raced by Olympic sailors, youth athletes in the Olympic Development Program, and Miami local artists, on the steps of the Peréz Art Museum (PAMM) overlooking Biscayne Bay. The regatta was followed by the unveiling of the sculptural installations at sunset during a beachside cocktail party with sounds by DJ Henri Bergmann including a pop-up presentation of CoExistence, a fragrance by world leading brand in Italian luxury perfumery, Xerjoff. The fragrance was inspired by the flowers of the Indian Elephant’s natural habitat and was created specifically to support the migration. Sergio Momo, Founder and Creative Director of Xerjoff, offered gift bags to guests and created a cocktail recipe referencing the fragrance notes. World-class mixologists from Evelyn’s at Four Seasons Hotel and Residences Fort Lauderdale expertly crafted the unique cocktail alongside their own signature creations. The evening concluded with a private dinner at Casa Faena.

Ximena Caminos, ReefLine Founder & Artistic Director, commented: “The ReefLine seeks to perform a unique kind of ‘marine acupuncture,’ blending art and innovative blue technology to target vital pressure points in the ocean. Our goal is to unlock their regenerative potential, ultimately restoring what has been lost to the devastating effects of climate change while fostering community engagement and awareness. We aspire to become a blue lab for cross disciplinary collaboration and influence public policy.”

Fiona Humphrey, Elephant Family USA Trustee, said: “We’re so thrilled to welcome these elephants to the Miami Beach shoreline, where they will stand majestically at the meeting point of land and sea. I hope this exhibition reminds us of the awe we feel in the presence of wild, free animals and, in our increasingly urban world, inspires humanity to better share space.”

Following the success of The Great Elephant Migration Miami, Four Seasons is honored to continue this meaningful collaboration, as a family of elephants head to Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach, where they will be beautifully displayed for the season from December 13th through mid-March.
