FY 2024-2025 Community Grants (CG) Program By Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs
A quarterly grant program for nonprofit organizations developing small and large-scale community based cultural programs (dance, theater, music, visual arts), as well as projects and events, such as fairs, parades, neighborhood festivals and publications that have a strong artistic component. The program funds projects with strong community involvement and/or outreach component.
The Community Grants (CG) Program is particularly sensitive to the needs of indigenous cultural neighborhood activities and projects encouraging the preservation of heritage, traditions and culture, as well as social service organizations and cultural groups developing collaborative intervention projects using the arts.
CG MAXIMUM REQUEST (Click here to see guidelines for more info):
- up to $7,500 – First time applicants, one-time cultural events/artistic projects, programs or events
- up to $10,000 – Major, annually recurring projects, programs or events with a two-year minimum track record such as festivals and fairs drawing 1,000 people or more per day to the event

First Quarter (projects with a first public date between October 1 – December 31)

Third Quarter (projects with a first public date between April 1 – June 30)
December 5, 2024
Fourth Quarter (projects with a first public date between July 1 – September 30)
