Born in Rome, Diego had a successful dance and choreography career in Italy before relocating to the U.S. in 1997. He has performed with Uthoff, Momentum, and Peterson & Dancers, and co-founded Dance NOW! Miami with Hannah Baumgarten.

His choreography has been shown in the U.S., Europe, and Latin America. He has restaged historic works by Duncan, Limón, and Arpino and currently leads the Joffrey Italy Program. A dedicated teacher, Diego has worked with institutions such as New World School of the Arts, FIU, and Interlochen, and serves on the board of the Florida Dance Education Association.
