Chef Antonia Grandberry (Executive Pastry Chef At Eden Roc Hotel Miami Beach)
Antonia Grandberry brings her passion for pastry and creativity as the executive pastry chef of the iconic Eden Roc Hotel Miami Beach. In this role, she spearheads the pastry programs for the property’s culinary outlets, with the exception of Nobu, including the oceanside signature restaurant Ocean Social by Chef Tristen Epps. Antonia grew up in Atlanta, where her passion for pastry began at a young age. Embracing baking as a hobby, she whipped up treats for friends and family throughout middle school and high school before heading to Tennessee State University in Nashville on a pre-med track with the intention of becoming an anesthesiologist.
However, right from the start she realized that her heart was elsewhere. Shortly after arriving at school, a commercial for Le Cordon Bleu Cooking School caught her eye, and it dawned on her that she could actually build a career doing something she truly loved.
Following that realization, Antonia moved back to Atlanta and enrolled in cooking school to pursue her dreams of becoming a pastry chef. Flash forward to 2024, Antonia works alongside Chef Tristen who serves as the executive chef of Eden Roc Hotel Miami Beach. Not much of a sweet’s lover, Chef Antonia considers herself more of a savory snacker, but she does have a weak spot for chocolate and considers a warm brownie with vanilla ice cream the ultimate comfort dessert.
