Broward County Schools Art Supervisor Donna Haynes Wins Florida Art Education Association Award

The Florida Art Education Association (FAEA) has announced its 2022 award winners. These awards recognize individuals within the membership who have achieved the highest level of professionalism in art education and show appreciation for individuals or organizations that have contributed their services in an exemplary way to the association and to shared professional goals. Donna Haynes, Art Curriculum Supervisor K-12, Broward County Public Schools, is the winner of FAEA’s 2022 Supervisor/Administrator Award.

“It is my pleasure to share in the celebration of those who have achieved the highest level of professionalism in art education. FAEA appreciates and embraces these individuals for their dedication and commitment to art education in the state of Florida,” says FAEA President Nancy Puri.

FAEA will honor the 2022 award winners during the Awards Breakfast of its 70th Annual Professional Development Conference at the Caribe Royale Orlando, Caribbean VI and VII, Saturday, October 15, from 7:00 a.m.-8:00 a.m. FAEA’s Conference will also feature two keynote speakers: artist and author, Marilyn G. Stewart, Davis Publications, and fiber and mixed media artist, Amy Gross.
