BitBasel 2024: A Transformative Celebration of Art, Technology, and the Future of Creativity

BitBasel, Miami’s pioneering platform bridging art and technology, marked a transformative celebration of The Future Of The Arts during Miami Art Week 2024. The week brought together artists, technologists, and collectors to explore how artificial intelligence, blockchain, Web3, and digital assets are revolutionizing the creative landscape.

Making its headline for the first time in the US at BitBasel, the Michelangelo Eternal Creations, a historic collection; valued over 1 billion USD, showcased seven one-of-a-kind pure silver casts of Michelangelo’s most iconic sculptures, with esteemed guests including Archbishop Thomas Gerard Wenski and Steven Meiner, Mayor of Miami Beach in attendance. On December 6, 2024 the collection secured a historical $2.5 billion investment led by Mark Russo. This proposed partnership is intended to secure funding for Michelangelo Fine Art Collection (MFAC)’s collection of iconic masterpieces, including works by Michelangelo, Bernini, and Canova. “MFAC is not just creating art; we are redefining how people can own and invest in history,” said Mark Russo, CEO and Founder.
