Airbnb Partners With Art Basel Miami Beach On Unique Experiences

Beyond accommodations, Airbnb and Art Basel Miami Beach have partnered to create tailored Experiences that connect broader audiences with Modern and contemporary art and culture during the show week. From a behind-the-scenes tour of Art Basel Miami Beach with the fair’s director, Bridget Finn, to an immersive and interactive dining experience hosted by renowned culinary artist Caique Tizzi, these unique Experiences will offer art, design, and broader culture enthusiasts the chance to engage with the rich cultural landscape that has made Greater Miami a global hub for creativity.

Insider access at Art Basel Miami Beach with the Fair’s Director

  • Bridget Finn, Director of Art Basel Miami Beach, will host a private tour, walking guests through standout presentations at the show before doors open to the public. Guests will explore the Positions sector of the show, where they’ll get an intimate look at solo presentations by radical emerging artists from around the world, followed by the awe-striking tour of Meridians, the show’s sector dedicated to monumental, museum-minded artworks. Bridget will give guests the inside scoop on the new galleries, concepts, collaborators, and vision that shaped this year’s revitalized edition of the fair, while giving tips on how to expertly navigate the dynamic landscape of Art Basel Miami Beach. The Experience will conclude with drinks and intimate conversation in the show’s exclusive Collector’s Lounge.

 

Interactive Dining Experience with Artist and Chef at a Hidden Pop-Up Restaurant at Art Basel Miami Beach

  • Culinary artist Caique Tizz will host an intimate dining experience that reflects on art, history, and food in a multisensory journey in celebration of the spirit of Art Basel Miami Beach. This luncheon will take place in a hidden pop-up restaurant in the Collector’s Lounge at Art Basel Miami Beach, where each dish and moment is crafted to spark imagination, conversation, and connection. During this Experience, guests are welcomed to participate in tortilla pressing, building tacos from a beautifully prepared spread, while exacting their pineapple carving expertise. They will also learn about Caique’s ongoing project, Tropical Anthology, as he recounts narratives of ancestral knowledge, colonial influences, and the global impact of key ingredients on his culinary art practice.

 

Photography Workshop with Leading Artists at Miami Artist Residency Bakehouse Art Complex

  • Bakehouse Art Complex is the oldest and largest artist-serving organization in Miami, providing artists with studio and fabrication spaces, a strong peer community, and professional and creative development opportunities. Their vision is to unleash the creative potential of Miami and cultivate an ecosystem that fosters creativity, encourages collaboration, and continues to elevate Miami as a global center of innovation and cultural production. For this special event, Assistant Director Laura Novoa will provide guests with a captivating introduction to the history and mission of Bakehouse, followed by an intimate studio visit and photography workshop with resident artists and photographers Diana Espín and Pedro Wazzan. Participants will have their work featured in a curated pop-up exhibition within the space and receive a copy of their selected print as a memento of their experience.
